Wayne is a writer, actor, director, producer and acting coach with 19 years experience creating independent theatre all over Australia. Wayne’s most successful plays include, The Subtle Art of Flirting, We’ll Always Have Wagga, Fag Boy & the Married Guy, Everything I Know I Learnt From Madonna, The Bridesmaid Must Die!, 37 Ways To Say I’m Gay, Silvertop Ash, Flame Trees, The Girlie Show, Bitch and many more. As an actor, Wayne has appeared in the TV shows, The Doctor Blake Mysteries and Underbelly: Squizzy. Wayne also appeared in the feature films, The Casting Game, Fragmentary and Apparitions. Wayne is a former storyliner at Neighbours and was the festival director for Short+Sweet Sydney in 2017. In 2019, Wayne wrote and directed his first feature film, an adaption of his hit stage play, According to Otto. Wayne has also begun directing music clips, his first was for award winning country artist, Amber Lawrence.
Wayne won a Best Director award for the first season from the Web Series Festival in Utah.
Nicholas Price is a Sydney based cinematographer who has made commercials, video clips, TV series, documentary and short films. Nick is a graduate of AFTRS and is always striving to bring a unique visual style to any project he works on. He made the branded content series The Party Garden, which won the 2009 Adnews Campaign of The Year. He also wrote and directed the highly stylised short noir Killers and Thieves staring John Waters. Recently Nick has shot projects as diverse as TVC’s for NSW Farmers, video clips for Universal Music and a series of Huewei spots filmed on a mobile phone. With a weakness for travel, lenses, old cars and corn chips (he is in fact happiest when mixing any of these) It’s safe to say that Nick has a passion for diverse and interesting projects.
Kristina Benton is a New Zealand-born actor, singer and composer who trained with the late Peter Oyston at the Monash Academy of Performing Arts. She has been performing for close to 30 years, has worked with several Melbourne theatre companies to critical acclaim, and has been composing music for theatre for eight years. Her most notable performances to date have been Skinhouse (Quiet Little Fox), which she co-wrote, composed for, and performed, Home Invasion, and Sneakyville (Before Shot), The Subtle Art of Flirting (Tunks Productions), and This That (U Mad? Productions). She has worked in theatre in education, specialising in Shakespeare, and she has appeared in Australian television and film, including the indie sci-fi feature, How To Time Travel. Kristina was a founding member of Australia’s only bisexual focussed radio show, Triple Bi-Pass on Joy 94.9, and in 2017, she accomplished the incredible feat of writing, directing, producing and music directing four drag cabarets in four months at The Butterfly Club. She is a multi-faceted and multi-disciplined performer and artist with a deep passion for creating meaningful stories for the stage and screen.
Over the past 35 years, Sandra Campbell has attained a breadth of acting experience across a plethora of productions, stages and creative disciplines. Sandra made her debut at The New Theatre in 1982 in Nick Enright's production of First Class Women, which he was commissioned to write for New Theatre's 50th anniversary. Her Television appearances include a somewhat risqué role in Water Rats where she played a Dominatrix (!) and the slightly more respectable character in Rake where she played a Judge! More recently, Sandra had a feature role in the award winning short film, The Salt Maiden which was also seen at The Cannes Film Festival. This year Sandra starred in "Once in Royal David's City" at the New Theatre.
Tristan is a trained actor, dancer and voice artist. Tristan earned his diploma of acting at Screenwise in Sydney and his Diploma of dance at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet in Canada. His 2017 theatre performances included, The Mexican Wave as part of the Short and Sweet festival and the brand new work, Diva Wars, by acclaimed dramatist Wayne Tunks. Tristan also had a leading role in the feature film The Gathering.
Alec is from Sydney, Australia. He is a current conservatory student on a scholarship at the Stella Adler Academy of Acting in Los Angeles. Recent film includes After Nightfall: Season 1 and DNA: The Petersons; productions include Othello (Long Beach Shakespeare Company) Troilus and Cressida (Secret House) and Arthur and Marilyn (Dinosaurus Productions), which won him the Kerry Casey Best Actor award at Sydney’s Short + Sweet Festival.
Barbara Gouskos is best known for her Television appearance as “Helen Bordino” in the popular series Heartbreak High, other performances include Secret City, Deadly Women 11, 8 & 7, Lindt Café The Seige, Crownies, East West 101, All Saints, Home & Away, White Collar Blue, Water Rats and many others…… Her feature film credits include Backtrack, Sacred Heart & Mushrooms and various Short Films the latest being Utopia, Turn, Aquarium, Blind Date, Haircuts, She Loves me She loves me Not. As well as acting, Barbara has worked behind the camera, as co-producer and production manager on a variety of Short Films. Her Stage credits include Haircuts the play & Starry Comet Night for writer & producer Con Nats, Night Journeys for Takeaway Theatre, She Loves me, She loves me not, Shakespeare by the Sea, Alex & Eve & The Negotiating Table for Bulldog Theatre and The Show Must Go On….Takeaway Theatre’s 20 year Gala Production, Someday Suddenly for Tunks Productions and PROXY for Liber Theatrum.
Prudence was raised and trained as a performer in Sydney. She graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts, and the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and has also graduated from three years of Meisner Acting training.
Prudence’s theatrical credits have included: Into the Woods (Cinderella’s Stepmother, Bloom Creative Productions) , The Wild Party (Madelaine True, Little Triangle), Macbeth (Hecate, SheShakespeare), As You Like It (Charles/Amiens, SheShakespeare), Godspell: Prepare Ye (LHE), Elegies for Angels, Punks and Raging Queens (Tracey, PHP), The Girlie Show (Tunks Productions), the Australian premiere of Carrie – The Musical (Chris Hargensen, Squabbalogic). And Bye Bye Birdie – (Deborah Sue-Production Company).
TV performances include: Anna in THIRTY-The web-series (winner of best Best Ensemble Cast at New York Web Fest).
Prudence has recently moving into sound design and composition for theatre. She has worked on Flame Trees (Tunks Productions), Musical Directing : Brecht's Caucasian Chalk Circle for Sydney Theatre School. She is the resident Music Director and Sound designer for SheShakespeare having performed and designed two sold out seasons of As You Like it, Macbeth. Prudence is currently in preparation for this year’s production.
Claire Johnston is a recent acting graduate of Screenwise Film & TV School. She also holds an Associate Diploma in Musical Theatre from Trinity Guildhall. She has appeared in various independent theatre productions and musicals including Much Ado About Nothing, Annie, DNA and most recently Wayne Tunks’ production of Bitch. After Nightfall is Claire’s first screen credit.
Jasper is an actor and writer from Sydney, where he studied acting at the Academy of Film, Theatre & Television (AFTT). His credits include short films Velvet, Brothers and Be A Man, as well as plays Spring Awakening for AFTT/Belvoir, The Merry Wives of Windsor for Bard on the Beach, and Bitch for Tunks Productions.
Chantel is an actor, pianist, singer and music teacher based in Sydney. After graduating from the Actor's Centre Australia in 2014, Chantel appeared in the TV series Home and Away and the stage productions Mother Clap's Molly House, School for Scandal and The Girlie Show.
Emma has trained as both an actor and voice coach, having completed her Bachelor of Theatre Arts in Acting (USQ), and her Graduate Diploma in Voice Studies (NIDA). As well as years of directing, vocal coaching and performing in many independent theatre productions across Sydney, she also runs ‘Em’s Entertainment’ – a Theatre-In-Education company specialising in performance for under 7’s. Joel Maguire is an Actor/Presenter based in Sydney. He has appeared as "Drake" in short film Blind Date, won a Best Actor award at the 24/7 Film Festival for his role as "Jayden" in Survey and is a presenter on Disney Channel show, Hanging With. Joel will next be seen in feature film, "According to Otto". He also has a bachelors degree in Media majoring in Screen and Sound and hopes that one day this will get him a job. (Please hire him).
Robert trained at Sydney Theatre School, attaining a Diploma of Acting mid 2017. Prior to this he was completing Year 12 HSC Drama, Directing a production of Bouncers in 2015, and starring in notable works such as The Importance of Being Earnest, and Julius Caesar. Since graduating Sydney Theatre School, Robert has gone on to be featured in TVC’s for Avalon Waterways, and taken part in student films. Being a part of After Nightfall is a huge privilege for Robert, as it is his first step out of acting school into a career he hopes to span a lifetime.
Jacinta has also performed in The Unseen Musical and several Tunks Productions including Tupperware, The Green in Mrs White, Hell Hath No Fury, The Girlie Show and this year’s critical and commercial success, According to Otto. In 2017, Jacinta performed in One Punch in the Short and Sweet final and the feature film, Fragmentary. In 2019, Jacinta filmed one of the lead roles in feature film, According to Otto, reprising her critically acclaimed stage role.
Jace Pickard is an actor, director, writer and producer currently based in Sydney, NSW. Graduating from a full-time course at Screenwise in 2012 with a Diploma of Screen Acting, Jace has gone on to do various projects within the entertainment industry. He is set to release his feature film Fragmentary late 2019, which he wrote, directed, produced and starred in. His other credits include producing and starring in the 2015 thriller film, Lead Me Astray, Jack Dawson in Titanic Interactive, Nick Carraway in Great Gatsby Interactive and various roles in ABC iview Too Pretty to be Witty.
Bronte is in Year 7 at St Andrews High School in the Sydney CBD. She attends classes at Drama Spot, Lane Cove. She has also attended classes with Australian Institute of Dramatic Arts and NIDA Open. This is Bronte's professional acting debut.
Nick grew up in Port Macquarie on the mid north coast of NSW. He is a recent graduate of NIDA and also has a Bachelor of Theatre & Performance from The University of New England. His work varies from musical theatre, stage and screen. His recent credits include: Bitch (The Depot Theatre); Woyzeck (NIDA); I've Gotta Have You (Triple J's Unearthed Artists); A Short Guide to Shakespeare (Sydney Fringe Festival); The Tempest (Felt Tip Theatre Company). Nick is currently rehearsing for New Theatre's production of The Lieutenant of Inishmore. He aims to bring Australian stories to the forefront of Australian theatre, create new works for emerging artists and to work with various performance mediums to reinvent the way we experience productions.
Anton Smilek is an 2016 graduate from the Academy of Film Theatre and Television. With a love for both theatre and screen, Anton’s latest theatrical credits include Romeo and Juliet, Bitch, Consensual, Tapping Out (Short+Sweet- Gala Finals Nomination), A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Our Class, and The Time is Not Yet Ripe. His latest film credits include the feature films, Kairos and Event Zero, as well as the web series Faithful Companions and the TVC pilot, Legends. Alongside the arts, Anton is a Personal trainer with an history in competitive bodybuilding.
